My name is Connor Meyer, and I am proud to be a Candidate Property Practitioner with Realtors International Strand at 74 Beach Road, Strand, Western Cape, South Africa, 7140. Entering the real estate industry has been an exciting new chapter in my life, and although I am still in the early stages of my journey, I am building valuable experience in both sales and rentals. One of my proudest moments so far was listing my very first property and securing a buyer within just two weeks — a milestone that confirmed I am on the right path. I am currently completing my NQF4 qualification and look forward to achieving full status as a property practitioner next year.
I originally studied Political Science, which gave me a strong sense of community and a passion for creating positive change. These values shape my approach to real estate: for me, property is about more than transactions — it’s about people, relationships, and helping clients achieve their meaningful goals. A big part of my strength lies in networking and connecting people. I’ve always enjoyed being the “middle man,” whether it’s introducing friends, supporting family, or, now, acting as the bridge that helps buyers and sellers find their mutual success.
Outside of property, I live an active and adventurous lifestyle. I play rugby, love hiking, swimming, and spending time at the beach — luckily, it’s only a short walk from my home. I also have a passion for motorbikes and currently ride a 200cc, with plans to upgrade soon (because, like in real estate, sometimes you need a little more horsepower). Music and comedy are two other creative outlets for me: I enjoy DJing in my spare time, and I’ve even started performing stand-up comedy. Some say property practitioners need thick skin — testing jokes on stage is good training for that.
I believe that striking a balance between professionalism, enthusiasm, and personality enables me to connect with clients on a deeper level. My goal is to build a career defined by integrity, excellent service, and lasting relationships. Whether assisting with a rental, helping someone sell their property, or guiding buyers to their dream home, I am committed to walking them through the journey every step of the way.
