Why You Should Invest in Durbanville

Category News

It’s that time of the year that we bid farewell to the lovely long weekends of April and say hello to the beautiful Cape Town Autumn. The season changes are visible in the beautiful burnt orange leaves that are making their appearance and the increasing rain has been welcomed by our thirsty lawns and dams. Durbanville is shifting to its Winter appearance and we love it.

This year has and will continue to bring about numerous improvements and development to our town. Our very own University is coming to Durbanville on the corner of Okavango Road and Wellington Road on the periphery of Durbanville. The first University will be developed by Stadio Holdings, a subsidiary of the private education group Curro. It is envisaged that their doors will open at the beginning of 2021. Wellington Road sees a great development sprouting that will boast a luxurious retirement village. We have also seen construction on the new Durbanville Village Square’s in Oxford Street opposite the Post Office. The development will feature an 11000m² retail component anchored by a 2300m² Woolworths Foods. Realtors International will expand with the opening of a second office in this beautiful space in 2019. These developments will translate into Durbanville’s footfall increasing drastically with greater spending power that will see our businesses booming.

We are delighted to share with you the opening of a Realtors International office in the Overberg. A quaint space in Onrus has been allocated to house our team, consisting of Gavin Drake and Herman Bok. We are excited to participate in the further growth and development of the Overberg and firmly believe that the area is a great investment opportunity for home owners and investors alike.

Our office in Swellendam, which opened its doors in 2017, is also showing great results for the year thus far. With our ever increasing market share we are able to provide great investment opportunities to our clients to suit their needs.
