It’s that time of the year that we bid farewell to the lovely long weekends of April and say hello to the beautiful Cape Town Autumn. Our very own University is coming to Durbanville on the corner of Okavango Road and Wellington Road on the periphery of Durbanville. The first University will be developed by Stadio Holdings, a subsidiary of the private education group Curro. It is envisaged that their doors will open at the beginning of 2021. Wellington Road sees a great development sprouting that will boast a luxurious retirement village. We have also seen construction on the new Durbanville Village Square’s in Oxford Street opposite the Post Office. The development will feature an 11000m² retail component anchored by a 2300m² Woolworths Foods. Realtors International will expand with the opening of a second office in this beautiful space in 2019. These developments will translate into Durbanville’s footfall increasing drastically with greater spending power that will see our businesses booming.
