Meet Anna-Marie Brink

Hi there.

In 2021, I joined the real estate industry and am passionate about people and real estate. I am determined to help my clients find the perfect home for them. I focus primarily on residential properties, but commercial will not be challenging. My clients can attest to my dedication and enthusiasm when I work with them. The property industry is highly competitive here in the Helderberg and throughout South Africa.   There are often numerous agents competing for the same clients and properties. It is challenging for me to stand out above everyone else and ensure that properties and buyers are secured in their transactions.

Real estate markets can be very volatile from month to month. Fluctuations in market-related prices are experienced due to economic conditions, interest rates, and local factors. A slow sales and buying market can make it difficult to close deals that then suffer to earn low or no commissions. Dealing with customers, especially during the buying or selling, can be emotional. I am passionate about understanding my client's needs and helping them achieve their goals. I've spent years managing clients' expectations, dealing with rejections, and navigating the emotional highs and lows of the deal. Communication is crucial and is a top priority for me.

I strive to provide excellent service and go the extra mile to please my clients. I stay up-to-date with the latest real estate industry trends and constantly learn new things, laws, and rules. Real estate agents often work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. My phone is on 24/7 to ensure I can accommodate my clients' schedules for property viewings, meetings, and negotiations.

In 2022, I became part of the Realtors International Strand Branch and am still part of that Realtors family.

My clients can count on me to be honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. I am committed to providing my clients with the best possible service. As a result, I am confident that I am the right agent who can help you find the perfect home for you and your family. I need to communicate and manage effectively who have diverse needs, expectations, and levels of understanding about the real estate process. Continually building and maintaining relationships requires a lot of patience and the excellent interpersonal skills I possess.

Real estate agents work on a commission basis, which means income can be irregular and unpredictable. It takes time to build a steady stream of clients and transactions, leading to financial uncertainty initially, especially for those new to the field. A place to break free is a desire to be in Mozambique. Out of the ten different places I visited, Mauritius was my favorite. I've always preferred warm weather, so I wouldn't mind going there again.

Despite all the challenges at work, being a real estate agent can also be rewarding, providing the opportunity for financial success, professional growth, and, of course, following the Mauritius trip.

The demanding schedule of a real estate agent can make it challenging to keep a work-life balance. Dealing with personal life and work obligations can be very demanding. So, I enjoy watching crime documentaries in my spare time should I decide to watch TV; otherwise, I'm very handy and love small crafting projects.

My most significant injury was when I broke my arms and leg, where I realized that my greatest fear I want to conquer is not to grow old alone. Besides my favorite season, Summer, my food preferences are all seasons of the year. That leaves me with a salt tooth and not dessert.

Realtors International Strand took me in with open arms and immediately made me feel part of the family. I look forward to working every day. Before Realtors International Strand, I was just a tenant until an agent asked me to submit my resume. After that, I got the job and am very happy here.

It is crucial to keep up with market trends, technological advancements, legal regulations, and changes in the industry. I built and taught myself, took exams, and am now a fully qualified real estate agent.

For that reason, I look forward to many more years in the industry, encounters, and hard work that will lead to success.

Visit me here at Realtors International Strand, and come and have a coffee. Let's get to know each other; you never know what's in the pipeline.
